Product Description
Jasco AL-MEC is an aluminum alloy mechanical connector designed specifically for the end-to-end connection of aluminum conductors; it is widely used in overhead transmission lines, underground cables, distribution networks, and substation projects.
The product features a design that ensures stable clamping force and reliable electrical connection, thereby minimizing the risk of issues caused by improper installation.
Constructed from durable aluminum alloy, it is equipped with bolts designed to shear off (or tighten) automatically upon reaching the preset torque. The product line offers a comprehensive range of specifications-covering models from AL-MECC-10/35 to AL-MECC-800-suitable for cables with cross-sectional areas ranging from 10 mm² to 800 mm². Installation requires no hydraulic crimping tools; the process can be completed using only a standard wrench.
