Product Description

Manufactured by Yueqing Jasco Electric (JASCO), the TT series terminals are designed for a wide range of applications - including small-to-medium power stations, box-type substations, generators, energy storage systems, and industrial control systems - ensuring reliable connections between wire segments or copper conductors. Constructed primarily from high-purity T2 copper and fully tin-plated, these terminals offer excellent thermal conductivity as well as superior resistance to oxidation and corrosion, maintaining low operating temperatures during continuous use.

The TT series features a lightweight, low-profile design with a wide, flared entry that prevents wire bending or twisting during assembly and facilitates easy removal. An inspection window allows for visual verification of full wire insertion prior to final installation, thereby preventing poor connections.

The series encompasses models ranging from TT10-6 to TT240-16, with dimensions precisely matched to specific cable cross-sections and current ratings; they are compatible with standard crimping tools for on-site installation.

With an operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, the TT series supports OEM customization (such as laser-engraved customer logos and custom dimensions) and is also available in neutral specifications that meet export standards, local engineering codes, and import requirements.

FAQ

Q1: For what type of cables are these TT series terminals (cable lugs) designed? Which models are included in the series?

Answer: The TT series is designed specifically for copper cables and is not suitable for aluminum cables. The model range extends from TT10-6 to TT240-16, covering copper power cables with cross-sections from 10 mm² to 240 mm². Different angle specifications correspond to specific mounting diameters; when selecting a model, ensure that the cable cross-section and the mounting bolt size are compatible.

Q2: What tool is required for crimping? Can they be reused after crimping?

Answer: Standard hydraulic crimping tools can be used for installation. Reuse is not recommended; the terminal typically undergoes permanent deformation during crimping, and a second crimp could result in poor contact. Single use is recommended for power projects.

Q3: What is the purpose of the tin plating? Are there pure copper versions available?

Answer: Full tin plating reduces contact resistance and provides protection against oxidation and electrochemical corrosion, making the product suitable for outdoor and humid environments in power distribution networks. Tin-plated versions are offered as standard; pure copper versions can be discussed for large-volume orders.

Q4: Can copper cables be used with aluminum terminals? Can aluminum cables be used with TT-series copper terminals?

Answer: They cannot be combined. Direct contact between copper and aluminum causes electrochemical corrosion, leading to overheating and connection loosening over long-term use, which poses a safety risk. DL-type (aluminum) terminals must be used for aluminum cables, while DTL-type (copper-aluminum) transition terminals are required for copper-to-aluminum connections.

Q5: Do you offer OEM customization, logo engraving, and neutral packaging for export?

Answer: Yes. We offer laser engraving of customer logos, as well as customization of lengths and hole diameters that differ from standard specifications. We also provide neutral (unbranded) packaging to meet overseas customs clearance requirements and private-label project needs.

Q6: Can samples be sent for testing?

Answer: Samples are used to test dimensions and clamping performance. Samples are free, but the client is responsible for shipping costs; a fee applies to requests involving large quantities of samples.

Q7: What is the order lead time (delivery timeframe)?

Answer: Standard models can be shipped immediately. Standard orders require 7–10 working days, while orders with special specifications or large orders require 15–25 working days; a priority production option will also be available soon.

Q8: Are you the original manufacturer?

Answer: Yes, Yueqing Jiasike Electric is the original manufacturer. We manage our own forging, surface treatment (plating), and quality control departments - without intermediaries - and handle major domestic infrastructure projects as well as export orders.
