Product Description

The DBV series consists of pre-insulated spade terminals manufactured in strict accordance with IEC standards for low-voltage connectors. They are commonly used for secondary circuit connections in low-voltage control cabinets, PLC automation panels, instrumentation, construction machinery, and power distribution boxes.

The metal body is constructed from high-purity tinned copper (0.7 mm thick), offering exceptional durability as well as resistance to oxidation and marine environments (corrosion resistance).

Upon crimping, the PVC insulation sleeve at the terminal's tail fully encapsulates the copper body, effectively preventing corrosion.

These terminals are designed for cold-press connections, eliminating the need for soldering (though soldering remains an option if required).

Insulation sleeve colors are color-coded based on cable cross-sectional area; the applicable wire gauge range is 0.5 to 1.5 mm² (AWG 22–16), with a maximum rated current of 19 Amperes (A). Available models include DBV1.25–10, DBV1.25–11, DBV1.25–14, and DBV1.25–18; Their spade (or U-shaped) design facilitates easy installation and removal on screws or terminal blocks. These terminals are engineered to ensure reliable performance across a wide range of applications. To meet the needs of international manufacturers and tender projects, the company also offers customized OEM services and neutral export packaging options.

FAQ

Q1: What are the features of the product's material and design?

A: The steel body is plated with high-purity copper, ensuring stable conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PVC sleeve is heat-resistant and comes with RoHS and SGS test reports.

Q2: How do I choose the right DBV model?

A: They are suitable for wire sizes ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 mm² (AWG 22–16). The differences between models DBV1.25-10, -11, -14, and -18 lie in the terminal dimensions; the blue color coding corresponds to specific wire cross-sectional areas, and specifications can be customized upon request.

Q3: What are the quality specifications and operating conditions?

A: Rated voltage: 600V. Operating temperature: -40°C to +105°C (or -45°C to +125°C). Altitude ≤2000m; humidity ≤95% (non-condensing). Avoid prolonged exposure to UV radiation, greenhouse gases, and oily environments. Compliant with IEC standards for low-voltage equipment; suitable for export projects.

Q4: Are auxiliary accessories required? Can the terminals be reused?

A: No auxiliary accessories are needed; simple cutting can be performed using a ratchet-style tool. Once the terminal is closed, it undergoes irreversible deformation; therefore, it **cannot be reused**. A new terminal must be used if the circuit needs to be reconnected. The materials used comply with industry standards.

Q5: What is the difference between DBV-type and CB-type terminals?

A: DBV-type terminals feature a PVC sleeve for enhanced safety, whereas CB-type terminals do not have a sleeve. Both types are available based on specific project requirements.

Q6: How does the factory's quality control system ensure consistency in bulk deliveries?

A: We implement end-to-end quality control: raw material inspection → material pre-inspection (formulation) → visual inspection (injection molding) → spot checks (metal stamping) → full inspection (finished products). Before each shipment, we subject samples to testing for corrosion resistance, salt spray resistance, and electrical performance. We maintain detailed production records for all manufacturing teams to ensure consistent product quality.

Q7: How are sample orders handled? What are the lead times and payment methods?

A: Standard samples are provided free of charge, with shipping costs borne by the customer; fees may apply for orders involving multiple samples. Lead times are typically 7 to 15 working days. We accept international payment methods (such as T/T and L/C) and are open to discussing payment terms with long-term partners.
