Product Description
This outdoor manual vacuum circuit breaker is specifically designed for pole-mounted installation on overhead distribution networks.
The outdoor manual vacuum circuit breaker utilizes a high-performance vacuum interrupter sealed within a protective housing; the arc-extinguishing process occurs entirely within the vacuum chamber, eliminating the risk of external arcing and ensuring maintenance-free operation and long-term stability across various environmental conditions. The unit is equipped with a manual spring-energy storage operating mechanism.
Manual operations - such as energy storage, opening, and closing - can be performed without an external control power supply. This ensures full functionality during grid outages, facilitating line maintenance, isolation, and troubleshooting.

In the event of a short circuit or overcurrent, the device instantly interrupts the faulty circuit to protect grounding transformers, cables, and associated equipment, while preventing the fault from spreading. It effectively handles the making, breaking, and carrying of load currents, overload currents, and short-circuit currents within the distribution system.
The housing offers excellent resistance to aging, rain, dust, and corrosion, making it highly suitable for harsh outdoor environments and pole-mounted applications. Its insulation materials perform reliably under demanding conditions - such as high temperatures, polluted environments, or extreme diurnal temperature fluctuations - making it an ideal choice for projects in regions like the Middle East and Africa.
The outdoor manual vacuum circuit breaker boasts a mechanical lifespan of up to 10,000 operating cycles and supports 30 operations at the rated short-circuit breaking current. The contact design incorporates a generous safety margin, and the clear insulation distance exceeds 200 mm, ensuring operator safety during maintenance.
