Jasco XRNT medium-voltage fuses are high-quality safety components designed specifically for medium-voltage power distribution systems. Typically installed in distribution substations, Ring Main Units (RMUs), and package substations, they are renowned for their excellent current-carrying capacity, high breaking capacity, and compact design, serving to protect distribution transformers and voltage transformers from damage caused by overloads and short-circuit faults.

Upon the occurrence of a fault, the fuse element melts instantly, and the quartz sand within the housing immediately extinguishes the arc, thereby interrupting the faulty circuit.

This mechanism effectively prevents severe damage to critical electrical equipment and large-scale power outages, ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the power grid.

The Jasco XRNT series meets the diverse needs of utility companies and industrial projects, covering three primary voltage ratings - 12 kV, 24 kV, and 36 kV - and offering a wide range of rated currents: 2 A to 100 A for 12 kV models, 2 A to 125 A for 24 kV models, and up to 16 A for the highest voltage class.

This extensive range of specifications allows engineers to flexibly select the appropriate fuse based on transformer capacity and project requirements.

The body of the Jasco XRNT fuse is constructed from high-quality ceramic, offering superior insulation performance and mechanical strength. To facilitate arc extinction, the housing is filled with high-purity quartz sand, while metal end caps provide effective protection against dust and moisture.

Developed in strict accordance with the IEC 60282-1 standard, the series comes with comprehensive type test reports and technical documentation to support tendering processes; customizable OEM services (such as printing customer or utility company logos) are also available.

These fuses are suitable for indoor environments at altitudes up to 2,000 meters, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C and a maximum relative humidity of 95% (non-condensing).

They are widely used in energy projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
