U Shackle

U-shackles are critical components widely used in electric power transmission and distribution systems. This series encompasses a wide range of models, including U-1240, U-1440, U-1470, U-1670, U-1870, U-1880, U-1890, U-2070, U-2080, U-2090, U-220J, and U-2200. Available in various lengths and load-bearing specifications - with rated loads ranging from 35kN to 100kN - they meet diverse engineering requirements.

Each U-shackle is manufactured from high-quality forged steel and finished with hot-dip galvanizing. The robust zinc coating provides exceptional corrosion resistance, protecting against salt spray, humidity, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures, thereby ensuring reliable operation in challenging environments such as coastal, mountainous, and desert regions. The material properties ensure high tensile strength and resistance to fatigue cracking under long-term cyclic loading. Precision machining guarantees a smooth pin-hole surface and consistent hole diameter. The complete assembly includes the U-shaped body, bolt, nut, and cotter pin, facilitating rapid installation. Two design configurations (Figure 1 and Figure 2) are available to accommodate different connection needs.
